Your 3 favourite players in the squad

Set out your stalls and explain why.

1. Robertson - perfect mentality for a professional sportsman. Our left back for the next decade. Seems a great bloke eg. volunteering at foodbanks

2. Van Dijk - potentially one of the all-time Liverpool greats. Get the feeling he won't move on, unlike Salah or Alisson, the other two geniuses.

3. Shaqiri - his first touch is to die for at times and the weighting of his passes is sublime. If he was a tiny bit more athletic he'd be world class. Still a joy to watch.

1. Milner - Oozes professionalism and bottle. Never goes hiding and is one player you can rely on to get stuck in and smash up the opposition.

2. Robbo - Pretty much same as Milner in attitude but has more quality, one of the best full backs in world football currently.

3. Van Dijk - His impact has been phenomenal and he exudes confidence, he calmness has rubbed off throughout the team and it's very rare we go into full panic mode now, which was a problem for years.

1. Robertson. Harkens back to when we always had a Scot in the squad. Excellent both defensively and offensively. Has bought into what Klopp is selling. Was an absolute steal in today’s transfer market - literally. Nearly quit football after early setbacks but is now the best LB in the PL. And seems to be as good a guy off the pitch as he is on it.

2. Van Dijk. Imperious. No need to say anything else.

3. Milner. Consumate professional and decent guy all around. Sly sense of humour on social media and the best free advert Ribena have ever had.

Honourable mentions for Salah - who appears to be a very grounded and humble man - and Mane, who seems to be the happiest bloke in football with a smile always on his face.

Pretty much sums up my feelings. Thanks for saving me the typing, Anubis

1. Van Dijk - I very much enjoy watching our players dominate. This guy does that every game.

2. Ox - Seems like a genuinely nice bloke. Very eloquent, and was our best midfielder last year.

3. Alisson - I always thought spending loads of cash to get a top goalkeepers in would be a waste of money, because you could get away with a competent goalie if your defence was very good. Well I was wrong. This difference Alisson has made to the squad has been so significant.

I like too many and thats because Jurgen has built such a great squad full of joie de vivre and togetherness.

Same here, remember just before Jurgen came here most of us struggled to find a favourite player

Better to have a three that you hate who are still at the club.

Morono,Mignolet and Lallana. Also hate the fact that Sturridge is still here but can see the logic in him.

Re Sturridge, It’s hard to get a decent back-up striker. All teams bar Arsenal struggle with it. Even City.. Sturridge is twice the player Jesus currently is.

Difficult pick, we do seem to currently have a lot of very likeable players. From the down to earth nature of Robertson and Milner, the fun and joie de vivre of Mane, Shaqiri, Alexander-Arnold and Firmino, Alisson and van Dijk's imperiousness, and the placid but steely calmness of Salah and Gomez. All topped off with Klopp's infectious boisterousness. Great bunch of lads. Having to choose 3, I'd go for-

1. Salah

2. van Dijk

3. Alisson

- based on their game-changing ability. For personality, I'd go for-

1. Firmino

2. Mane

3. van Dijk
