Went for the chocolate hobnobs but I much prefer the Lidl/Aldi chocolate oaties rather than McVities.

Yeah, I reckon anything that mimics them is fine to go in with  Chocolate HobNobs

What's a Lotus Biscoff? Sounds like a cheap sports car.

An excellent accompaniment to tea or coffee, in my opinion. You have to be quick off the mark though, as they don’t withstand much dunking. I think they’re Belgian, a sort of caramelised biscuit.

Usually come with a coffee over here.

Yeah, but work with tea as well, in my opinion.

Don't get a biscuit with your tea here though. If you are ordering Dutch tea you don't deserve one to be fair. Always one with your coffee.

Dutch coffee isn't much better. Black might be OK but they always use long life milk which is fucking foul.

Don’t be daft. Doesn’t soak up the tea at all. Do you actually know what shortbread is?

You can’t be buying the right shortbread. Either that or you aren’t dunking it for long enough.

Shortbread is too sickly to eat much of. You need to be able to polish off a packet.

I must have a sweeter tooth than you, Vlad!

We had a shopping delivery yesterday and my bird had added all manner of biscuits to it without my knowledge.

Walked in on her this morning and she’d opened a packet of rich tea. Rich fucking tea. When there’s loads of other biscuits. Disgusting, when you think about it.

Dutch coffee is fine but yes koffiemelk is muck. It is either that or the powdered milk usually unless you specifically ask for black coffee with separate cold milk. I've only drank it black for years. Less hassle.
