Quick heads up, Mudface (explain that username), the shop’s closed on Sundays.

Ah bum. Have to see if we can get across before Christmas instead. Did you go there yesterday, btw?

Mudface is just an old nickname from school. I had a ball booted in my face during break and didn't have time to wash properly before the next lesson.

This thread isn't nearly acrimonious enough, this is biscuits we're talking about here you bunch of fucking diplomats.

Two votes for Ginger Nuts makes the Cuban Missile Crisis look like an argument over play doh in a nursery.

I just find it quite hard to get too excited about biscuits, or maybe that’s just me.

A lot of the biscuits on that list are the kinds of things they serve up on cheapskate training courses. To be honest, I’d rather have nothing than eat them. Waste of good calories. In fact, I usually take my own rather than run the risk of being caught in that dilemma come the coffee/tea break.

That’s such a shit nickname it’s great.

On the shortbread shop...yes, I did get there. I loved the vibe...and the smell of cooking biscuits...but was a bit underwhelmed by the limited selection. I bought 4 but am waiting to savour them properly.

Forumites, I think it must be fair to say that Mudface has done all right for himself. The shortbreads were £1.30 each!

What makes the shortbread biscuit the best is that not only is it a great biscuit on its own, but it still goes well with chocolate, or dried fruit, or nuts, or icing filling/topping, or a jam filling/topping, or...

Choco Leibniz are really nice, but would they be as nice if it was just the biscuit on its own?
