I mean I'd say she's both of those things, which makes for a pretty terrible journalist. Unfortunately for us she's also the country's most prominent one, too.

If someone offered you a grand in cash or one volley at her head how hard would you kick her?

Yeah all true, although in Laura K's case I definitely think it's compounded by a lack of understanding/knowledge, as well. As you say, though, the gap in quality between them and some journos who are writing for fringe outlets/blog sites is fucking huge.

She's a weird one, as is Peston. I think what they get out of the job is fame first and foremost. They probably buzz off being on nights out and their phone goes and they're like "oh a text from the PM, I'll reply to him tomorrow."

They seem amazingly unconcerned what their peers think of them, which is really unusual. A journo who doesn't mind being considered a joke by other journos is strange indeed.

Yeah Peston in particular has just completely given up even the pretence of being a serious journo: happy to pick up his £400k a year for attending a few Spectator parties and repeatedly asking his followers "what's going on?" on Twitter. It's beyond parody.

Weren't the BBC quick to admonish Jo Brand about her joke about Farage getting hit with an ice cream?

Impartial or something or other.

I fucking hate double standards. Tory brexit queen shagging union-jack bio thundertwats on twitter baying for Diane Abbots blood writing the most vile hateful stuff about her then having the cheek to call the "woke" left racist for commenting that Patel is a bullying psychopathic cunt. If I could I'd boot every single one of them into the fucking sea. Hypocrisy is a vile trait and should be treated with an axe to the face. Fuck off. Own your bollocks. CUNTS.

I don't think the BBC actually had a go at Brand, I think there was outrage from the Right, who don't believe people should be easily offended but are very easily offended, they also believe in free speech until someone says something they don't like.

I thought they were completely wrong to be outraged by Brand, just like I think people are wrong to be outraged by Taylor.

The irony/hypocrisy being the same people who were calling out Brand will now be defending Taylor and having a go at the Snowflake left.

Yeah to be fair the Crown should be more accurate and depict Andrew being a paedophile and Philip having Diana killed.

True but the other more recent point is Marr defending his perceived untruths told about the royal family whilst unconcerned that Corbyn is slandered as anti semitic on a regular basis on his bbc political show.

Princess Margaret was reportedly heard saying 'fucking jews always moaning' after the premiere of Schindler's list. No mention of criticism about that by Marr. It's now establishments protecting establishments whilst the purveyors of socialism are fair game to be slandered at will.

And the irony of the person who fell for the biggest con trick of the century, and argued for it, complaining about bias. Love it.

You talking about the eu and yourself again Rico?  For someone throwing stones you did actually vote for a political party that pledged an eu referendum vote, you got what you voted for. I meanwhile abstained from said eu vote. If anyone of us is compliant in this con you speak of I'd suggest the more guilty party is yourself.

Now wrap up warm and drink a nice cup of cocoa because it must be fucking freezing in your greenhouse.
