You know when I knew we were fucked? It wasn’t when I first learned about the way capitalism was used to disempower people at the benefit of the powerful. It wasn’t when we followed the US into illegal wars. It wasn’t in 2008 when the economy nosedived. It wasn’t when the coalition imposed austerity upon the nation. It wasn’t when Corbyn’s Labour Party lost to that fucking baboon Johnson. It wasn’t even when COVID started killing everyone. I merely thought we were fucked after those things. When I knew, for certain, was when I realised Piers fucking Morgan was the guy we were relying on in the media to hold people to account.

as long as these fucking identikit BBC wankers are getting their mortgage paid and their kids sent to private school to avoid any sort of reality, productive work that benefits society and the hell on earth for many they mostly vote to enforce, they are quite happy. they have no scruples or decent principles whatsoever. selfish, greedy and mostly morally bankrupt scumbags. they'll do anything to toe the line now. wasn't always like that. it was a once respected organisation universally.

then again, all  artificially formed cliques where people only back-slap their own back-slappers and rate themselves as some sort of laughable, higher life-form hierarchy is also the same and quite tory in concept. plus those who are desperate to join to perpetuate it by appeasement for some sort of perceived gain or kudos.

I honestly don't know where the beeb's money goes. They've got virtually no sport left anymore, the best thing about the BBC is the stuff it's cut to the bone, its local radio and news operations. Can't think of a decent recurring drama series or comedy they've produced for years. There's been a handful of quality shows over the last few years such as Bodyguard and Line of Duty but you're talking, what, every two or three years you get a top class drama?

I bet there's just fucking millions, millions and millions of managers.

They must make a buck selling BBC produced content across the world too.

I honestly dont understand the bbc response at the end of this article, Kuenssberg repeats the Conservative line that Scotland couldnt stand on it's own two feet without English money, the SNP complain and the BBC say it's her job to give "independent" analysis. I thought she spoke as an employee of the bbc not for herself.
