I never eat anything after about 9pm.

This is as good place as any to share my deep hatred of people (usually birds) who need to go for something to eat on the way home from the boozer. Basically you're standing pished in a massive queue at a kebab shop, fights kicking off, freezing cold & tired waiting for them to get a pizza or whatever that they will eat a third of prior to passing out before you've had a chance to shag them. Bollocks.

I used to get takeaways. I mostly bevvied on an empty stomach and wouldn’t have had anything to eat for 24 hours. Sod queueing, though, and sod not eating all of it. Bloody lightweights!

Cheese and crackers is the quintessential late night snack, potential nightmares be damned.

A bit of stilton that had been out of the fridge for about 6 hours with a couple of crackers at 10pm last night. Sublime.

Those dreams about meeting  Graham Gooch and spotting a couple of Mountain lions were an added bonus.
