Probably win all 4 league games and still be behind those cheating oil money bastards.

At some point it has got to start getting to our lads mentally that here they are racking up a pts total that would see them top and clear in normal circumstances making no dent on the oil cheats.

So what you’re saying is that, PSG aside, we’ve got to play a bunch of middling teams that we’re a) better than; b) have much stronger squads than; and c) have spent a fortune more than, but it’s tough because we’re away from home for 3 out of 4 matches.

fucking hell, just play the games and beat them.

Our 'squad' is the key to these games and that's rightfully a worry. We have a much bigger squad but it has more filler than Joan Collins make up bag.

Start of the season I would have said our defence was a massive liability as there seems little in reserve behind VvD and Allison but with Gomez and Robertson stepping up it seems ok  . Now its our average midfield and misfiring strikers that are the concern. Last years attack, this years defence and a fit Ox we would be unstoppable !!

The problem is always going to be trying to compete with a team which has 2 or 3 decent options for most positions versus our one or sometimes two. We have spent a fortune but barely made a dent compared to City.

We have a couple of options for most positions which on paper should be ok but unfortunately the likes of Lallana and Sturridge offer very little in reality. Nothing another 500 mill couldn't solve.

Realistically, anything more than 8 points from those 4 league games would be very good by most standards. Nowhere near enough to maintain a challenge though.

The most annoying thing is that if we'd taken 2 points from Napoli and Red star away we  could have taken it a bit easier against PSG away. Whatever the outcome in that game, i's going to interfere with our planning for the league games.

Away to Watford

Away to Paris

Home to bitters

Away to Burnley

Away to Bournemouth

Fuck me, that's another tough run, especially after another poxy cunting international break.

Let's hope our lads come back ok and Kane, hazard, Aguero get syphilis and die.

Sky should market that as the FRUITY FIVESOME, ONLY ON SKY.....AND IT'S LIVE.

It’s not getting better...

Watford away
Psg away
Everton home
Burnley away
Bournemouth away
Napoli home
United home
Wolves away

Newcastle home
Arsenal home
Man City away

Only one straightforward game on paper (Newcastle at home) from eleven. However, we really gotta beat half of those if we want to seriously chalenge.

I said before we should play reserves against PSG. We need to choose one of those champions league games to focus on.

A win in Paris would put us through but think we've got a much greater chance against Napoli at home.

But then saying that PSG have been awful and Everton at home is an easier follow up game then the manc cunts.

Who knows just fuck getting a draw in Paris or losing and playing our best team.

Steady on.

I reckon our bench contains better players than the starting line-ups of Watford, Burnley and Bournemouth and even (to a lesser degree) Everton.  There are no excuses for the players we have not to get a result against teams like that.

Throw the match against PSG? Get Daniel Sturridge on the phone.
