Don’t want to see Lallana again until he’s holding up a Bournemouth shirt on deadline day next January.

I fear the boat for that one is currently being inspected by maritime archaeologists. He isn't even close to being good enough for Bournemouth.

So we basically need to either beat PSG, or if we lose to PSG beat Napoli by 2 goals.

That about it?

Or draw in Paris and any win against Napoli.

This all assumes Napoli beat Belgrade. If they don't life gets easier.

That was dreadful tonight. Out of ideas and shagged after the Arse game.  Sturridge could have repaid some of the wages he has stolen over the years but no he goes and misses a chance that a blind man could have knocked in with his knob-end. We had better wake the fuck up  against Fulham.

Napoli are an excellent team, miles better than almost all of the teams we've beaten so far this season. We are going to need a hell of a performance to beat them, especially considering our current form.

This.

Some serious under rating of teams from other leagues going on here at times.

Missing a sitter wasn't that big a deal, even if his finishing is practically the only supposed asset left to his game, all strikers miss chances.  It was the Danny me mode he went into afterwards that should have seen him hooked before half time.  Selfish prick that can't be fucked off soon enough.  Freeing up wages that has handicapped the club for years.

Missing that chance changed the course of the game. You can forgive him his selfishness if he does the one fucking thing he is supposed to be good at,

So, is it apparent to anyone else now that our midfield kind of sucks a bit?

Klopp knows this. That's why we signed Keita,Fabinho and tried to get Fekir. Unfortunately because neither of the new guys look ready yet we are stuck with the old guard and in fairness Wijnaldum and Milner have been really good for most games this season.

Wijnaldum has begun his regular downslide after yet again promising much. Milner is just an old work horse but if you are depending on him to do anything more than graft then you are fucked. Losing Hendo has been a big loss coupled with Keita's struggle to find his feet.

I really can't.  Every single striker on the planet will miss sitters from time to time, that's ok.  What most of them won't do is refuse to pass from there on in, all in the search for personal glory to the detriment of the team.  Much like even playing him in the first place since he can't sprint five yards.

A bit of perspective,

Along with the Spurs group we have the hardest group and are level on points with first place.

This is a really tight group, we are the only team with two wins so far. Red Star will role over away again and will probably lose to PSG so we basically need one more win from either of our last games. It's still in our hands and if we win in Paris we are through with a game to spare.
