V well coached team -- as you'd expect from Emery -- with more than a decent side, as you'd expect from Oezil, Aubameyang, Lacazette, Mkhitarian, Bellerin etc. That Wenger spent years floundering there in senility should not distract from them being a team with several hundred million invested in it. City lucked out massively playing them when they did.

On our side, most worryingly the midfield still shows no real improvement on yester-year, despite the investment. That's because Keita is out, of course, and Fabinho is acclimitising .. but if we are going to be tangibly better in terms of taking the last steps to win trophies this year, those 2 will need to step up.

Point is a good result here, but disappointed we couldn't see this one out.

Decent result you feel but not a result for a championship winner.

My thoughts exactly, the blue mancs will go above us tomorrow though

Can't complain.

Liverpool didn't turn up today. A typical 1-0 standard performance really.

Goal disallowed, too many chances missed and luck wasn't on our side today.

TAA looked a bit shaky today, seemed to grow into the game as it went on but a few sloppy errors which put us under pressure.

Severe disconnect between our midfield and front three.

Should have won and 2 points dropped but a draw from them in their current form isn't too bad considering the above.
