Was worried you were going to nab this Lee For me the cinematography is outstanding and just edges House of the Flying Daggers. The second most beautifully shot film I've ever seen. The first is my next choice.

I suspect I know what that one might be. If so, it's one of my wild card options.

I have a wildcard I think I might use which is in the running for most beautiful film ever, don't think it's the one you're thinking of if my read is right - was sorely tempted to pick the one I think you're thinking of though.  If that makes sense, which it doesn't...

Also, I've been keeping an eye on the directors involved, no real shocks in terms of who's getting multiple films.  But didn't expect to see Waititi in there.  Kudos.

That would be good. I have thought of loads of films that I really like but when up against the big hitters are probably not going to get the general consensus. Then of course you have the possibilty that others will not have seen said choice of films.

Good draft this though, loads of great picks so far in amongst the obvious choices, not too many I haven't seen.

I’ve just picked stuff that I like. I’m not arsed about winning, I’m just taking part for the fun of it. That said, my list would look quite a bit different, had others not selected some of my all-time favourites.
