“Hamish Macbeth” is of the best toasties I’ve ever had. With haggis, cheddar, bacon and rocket. Overpriced somewhat at £7 but just have a look at it!

That looks like a diseased fanny that you see in one those books designed to scare teenagers into not having sex.

Costco sell it and you can get it in Booths as well. Not sure if they have Booths stores up in Scotland though.

I’m certain they don’t but as it happens Booths is my favourite supermarket and I shall be in there on Friday

Love Cheese on Toast but when that didn't quite cut it for a hangover cure I used to love these bad boys...

My ma in law used to send this over to me in foot parcels, got stopped once by Aus customs who must have thought it was suss - 6 little cans showing up every few months.

i was gutted when the bastards stopped making it. Fuck that chicken and mushroom shit right off though.

How can you neg marmite and cheese? That’s a classic combination.

Was that you hanging round bakers delight looking for cheeseymite scrolls. I got a hell of a shock biting into one of them - thought it was a Cinnabon.

Do yourself a favour and get some Charcoal cheese when you’re there. They sell it behind the cheese counter. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

Cheese on toast is the absolute nuts, especially wi' a drop o' Henderson's Relish on.

I'm completely open to variations on the simple classic; I love a grilled cheese, the Reuben is the king of sandwiches and, for a weekend brunch, I'm partial to cheesy leeks on toast. Try it - sweat some leeks, add a bit of cream, loads of mature cheddar, pile on top of toast, splash of Hendo's, more cheese and back under the grill.

I’m a big fan of haggis. Surprised it’s not more popular than it is. I prefer it to black pudding for example.

Haggis is the food of kings.

The second picture of that toastie thing you've posted looks absolutely amazing, I'm going to try to make something like that this weekend, some hot sauce on there too & you've got an absolute beezer.

Having said all that, cheese on toast is not a toastie.
