That makes little sense. Slut is not a prejudiced remark. Calling someone a rent boy is the same as calling a female a prostitute, hooker or brass.

I've been wondering about this. Seen a few kicking off on twitter about it.

 

I always thought that the insult in being a "rent boy" is in the fact that they're NOT gay, but sell their bodies to men for sex anyway. As you say, rather like calling someone a hooker.
