Fuck all wrong with it. He shook his hand afterwards. Better than him trying to neck every player he subs off.

That wasn't the Hobbits reaction. He looked crestfallen. It was one of Klopps

worst nights since he has been here for me. His team selection was  abysmal, certainly with the back 5. Only Matip had had any game time this season prior to this match. Mignolet and Moreno in the same side practically guarantees a goal to the opposition. At the least Becker in goal woulhave gingered up the  Clyne, Matip, Lovren, Morono mismatch. Sure , Fabinho had to get some game time if only to assess his progress and suitability in his role in the squad. We now go into a game against one of our main rivals, away from home with them having the huge psychological advantage of having beaten us at our home, regardless of the team we use. It was the best chance of getting silverware relatively easily, the fewest matches and one of the big obstacles gone, beaten by us giving us the psychological edge not only for Saturday but in the next round.. What goes on between the players ears makes a profound difference to their performance - Lovren being the perfect example.

It diminishes Klopp footballing nous but, for me, the bollocking he gave the gave the player who was arguably MOTM diminishes him as a man.
