Windscribe is still the best I've used. Probably not the cheapest but it's got the best 'firewall' function (ensures you don't revert to your standard internet connection if the tunnel drops), and has some fairly effective ad/tracker blocking built-in, too.

I've used SharkVPN for a while, that seems to be alright I haven't compared it to anything else though. 

 

Bought it through quidco which gave me something daft like 80% cashback, so it's really cheap in the end.

And if you want a free one, it's the comfortably the best.

Another shout for Windscribe. Like Jair says, if you want a free one it's easily the best. You can also get very good deals for pro. I actually just finished a 3 year stint with them. I was looking at Pure which looks good, but I can't find any good deals. If I can find a good deal with Windscribe I'll probably just go with them again.

They usually have decent Black Friday deals, which isn't too far away. I tested Pure a while back but it was prone to DNS leak. That was a while ago tho so they may have tightened it up now.

I still have Pure trials if anyone wants to try them free for a month. Works fine for iPlayer, 4OD, IPTV, etc.

I got 2 years plus 3 months of Surfshark for 60 euros. Been having some problems with Pure this last month. It hasn't been working nicely with my main IPTV (though seems alright with the backup) and seems to have stopped working with iPlayer and 4OD on the Firestick.
