Free? There’s nothing great for free but Windscribe gives you a free version with limited bandwidth.

I use Windscribe on my laptop and Turbo VPN on my phone. Both free, and work without problems.

I found Windscribe to be a good free option on NVs recommendation but not tried its paid version. Have used HMA,Pure VPN and Cyber Ghost VPN too. Paid is best way to go.

Used nordvpn for a while until they stopped their Kodi add-on. Use IPTV vanish now. It's decent but not the cheapest at £23/quarter. There are probably compatible services for sub £5/month.

The built-in one on the Opera browser is usually OK, good enough to stream from somewhere like 123 Movies anyway plus unlimited usage. If you're after a VPN for privacy though, I doubt very much whether it's totally secure as it's not clear if they keep logs or not, and it's run by a Canadian company so you're potentially under Five Eyes jurisdiction.

I’m escaping the UK next week hopefully. Is there a VPN out there that will let me watch BBC iPlayer? Happy to pay whatever, looking for something I can add onto a firestick. Any help, advice is much appreciated.

I used NordVPN for a year and I had constant problems using it. If they've also experienced a hack, that just confirms their position in the Recycle Bin.
