Top bloke and the greatest keeper I've ever seen.

People go on about that blues team of 85 and yeah they had some decent players but they would never have won the league without him he saved them literally every week.

Remember being at home when it came on the TV saying he'd injured his Achilles in around April 86 playing for Wales and would be out for the season..... I literally jumped in the air screaming "yes".....Sorry Nev

Was watching one of those celebrity charity games on tv about five years ago & Nev was in goal and looked northwards of 20 stone , and pulled off a save that was probably the best I saw that whole season. Some tosser from Busted or some such is probably still boring people in the pub moaning about it to this day.

I remember him having some sort of dispute with the club about 88 or 89 I think, towards the end of his career anyway, where he sat against the goalposts at half time rather than going in with the rest of the players.

A blue in work was livid with him, he said, and I quote, "The cunt should get back on the fucking bins where he came from. That's what he is, a fucking bin man the fucking ungrateful cunt". It was a proper rant that went on for ages.

Funny as fuck.

Absolutely brilliant Goalie though, one of the best ever.
