Watched it live as a kid/teenager and seen it several times since.

This. Saw a load of it in the Navy. Was on the Iron Duke and part of the Guard for the re-dedication ceremony after we had come out of re-fit. It was pretty spectacular like. Passing out parades and all that always left a lump in my throat despite me hating Britain as a thing.

Nothing, absolutely nothing makes me proud to be British. Pedantry alert possibly, but I admire a lot about Britain, perhaps even amazed by it's cities, it's scientists, it's art, it's architecture. But no more so than I admire and am amazed by the Ancient Greeks or Egyptions.

 

I love some of the architecture in British cities. I admire the stoicism associated with the British. I'm wide eyed at the beatiful countryside. The NHS is a shining light.
