Oh, it was a general point though - probably some ruling somewhere once they start appeals etc where it comes in as they just keep on not accepting stuff and tying stuff up in more litigation.

Don't think CAS can get involved in this one either.

UEFA directly handed out the punishment to them, so city went cryarsing to CAS to overturn it.

With this situation the Premier league and city make their cases to a arbitration panel which is already independent.

So if they're found guilty there's no one else they can go to, except make an appeal to a slightly different panel from the same arbitrary organisation, but if they're found guilty in the first place I don't think there's a high chance they will get it completely thrown out, best they can hope for is a softer punishment, something that will be harder for them to get if they start acting like children and trying to sue everyone.

I hear you but i have my doubts.

I just can't see them accepting guilt or punishment and i see them challenging either/both endlessly.

I read somewhere yesterday that they are challenging the vote from yesterday - another example of their attitude.

Time will tell of course.

I was listening to something the other day that was saying if the PL were to relegate or expel them, the PL has no control at all over what happens to them next. As you say, the EFL don't have to take them (unless they're relegated by their points total). And if the EFL do take them, they choose at which tier. It would be absolutely smashing if they had to go to non-league. Although I'm assuming self interest would kick in and the EFL would just be thinking about how much they can make from city being in their league.

If they are thrown out of the league then it’ll be via a huge points deduction I’d expect.  Basically Everton got their 9(?) point dedication for one failing, so city get a 108 point deduction for example if found guilty of 12 things and so they just finish last and are relegation to the championship. The EFL then have no grounds to complain or move them lower down then possibly

It’s been confirmed that CAS have no jurisdiction and can’t intervene.

Everybody who isn't a cheating state run cunt club move from the "Premier League" to the new "The Premier League" invitation only and Abu Dhabi can take their club wherever they like or wherever wants them. Leave the trophies behind though they were won through undermining rules others played by its wrong they get to keep that glory and history, its like catching a burglar but letting him keep everyone else's stuff.

The appeals process is already documented. It's another independent panel. I can't recall if this is a new panel or the original one. I'm pretty sure it's a new one. The same process that allowed Everton to reduce their punishment last season.

I just don’t want this to be the season they were destined to finish third anyway and the points deduction merely means they finish fourth instead.

That said, I would accept this if as well as say 8 points or whatever, the sentence also included Bernardo Silva being publicly flogged.

When discussing City’s recent poor form why don’t any of the Sky pundits mention the charges hanging over them? The fucking weird cunts. Quite disrespectful to their audience not addressing the massive elephant in the room.

They're scared of City's lawyers probably.

I don't pay them much mind but how many regular scorers did they have since Haaland joined? Maybe that's the problem when you build a side around one main threat. We've got about six.

Sky flashed it up earlier.

From memory.

1st season early 20%

2nd season late 20%

3rd season mid 30%

You’re right, they are becoming evermore reliant on him and it is affecting them.

Next question though is what next?

It was rumoured the time Haarland was three seasons and done and then to Madrid for another bumper deal, but that’s not happening now, so what next?

Lovely stuff.

I think they had high hopes for Oscar Bobb this season, he was really impressive in pre-season.

But not replacing Alvarez, and the Rodri injury have fucked them.

They are aging as well, and those aging are not the kind of players we see being ultra fit either, so age will be an issue for the likes of Gundogan, Walker and De Bruyne.
