The problem with walking away is that we all saw what happened with the Super League. The useful idiots will bitch and moan about change, theyll protest. Sky would come out and say its a disgrace, blah, blah blah.

Except it's nothing like the ESL at all. City are a bad actor in this and within the premier leagues own rules should act with the "utmost good faith". Yet challenged the PL over a rule they actually voted in favour of themselves. There is no good faith. So let them have a vacuum of a PL and the other actors can work with each other in good faith elsewhere.

Premier league should say we cannot afford to fight legal battles with Abu Dhabi so we ask them to leave and take part in a league where the rules suit them more.

Sparking a legal battle wherein they claim the league has no right to make such a request.

Indeed. Which is why fans not showing up to games is the only real message. Then win city pick up a title infront of empty stadiums the fans have a replica trophy made and award it too the runners up. Utter fantasy but would be funny as fuck as they figure out who to sue.

I would like to see fans just boycott their games. Even if it were just the bigger teams, it would make a point about them and would damage the "super Sunday" nonsense these games are peddled as.

Not going to happen, maybe just some kind of protest in or outside the grounds but the only real hope is them losing the court case

Fully agree. There isn't a chance in hell of it happening. Would be nice, though.

Yeah, next time they're on the 12:30 kick off, all the opposition fans walk out at 1:15.

If it were just the fans of the big clubs it would be spun by the many paid pundits as them wanting to protect their monopoly blah blah. Far more effective if the fans of clubs that have less direct impact boycotted too.

A protest would just be reported as sour grapes. “Nobody protested when Liverpool won the league and bought all the best players every season”.

As you’ve said, the only hope is them losing a significant amount of the 115 charges and being hit incredibly hard.

Funny with this loan thing they might have pissed off some of the clubs who were witnesses in their defence. Hopefully everyone rounds on them, no doubt they’ll call the league racist and that they are the real victims in all this again, Martin Samual will write an article saying as much.

Vast majority of the football fans will not even understand the court case (hence City's massive PR exercise on them winning), and most within that vast majority won't give a flying fuck. Spurs fans will laugh if Arsenal fail to win the title. Red Mancs, shite, Forest, Newcastle and most other fans will laugh if we don't win:  "as long as its not the scousers". This is basically football in this country right now, with pundits drumming them up for those who pay £60 for Sky Sports subscription (or whatever the price is now).

Expecting fans to protest is more than a pipe dream and will never happen.

If us, Arsenal and even United create another league and fuck City off, this only sounds a great option just now because we want City to be punished but getting into bed with Barca, Madrid & Juve (if we go down the super league option) will be a totally different issue in itself in future.
