I don't understand why the FA would be involved. We've come to a settlement with city that city are happy with. We admitted no guilt, which indicates proving guilt might be difficult. I don't see what there is to be investigated, when city were happy for our 1m to help them meet their ffp requirement.

This is it for me too. Once you settle it's done. If they had reported us at the time the fine would have went to the FA and have transfer ban would have affected us and had no real consequence for City. Of course it's possible they did report us and the FA/PL told us to sort among ourselves like they did with Southampton over VVD.

I suspect this is a story city want to run to try and put us under some pressure, then just let social media do it's thing. It's been settled for 6 years when they didn't see us as a threat. Now we are, suddenly this story hits the press again.

Haven't City brought the game into disrepute by leaking details contrary to the terms of a confidential settlement? Nobody knew about it and no reputational damage was done until they did.

At the very least we should be getting our million quid back.
