Noted. Would you object so strongly if in this case theIr HR department rep have a word with Bernardo? Would that be out of line?

Ha.  Yesterday you claimed the HR dept were benign, when the obvious implication is ‘stop or be fired’.

Im pretty sure that the FA have previously taken a ‘joking is no defence’ stance so fully expect him to get a ban.  But it’s City, so expect them to get it over turned.

He compared someone to a cartoon character because, in his opinion, they look alike? And what?

Only after he vlogged a joke about Mandy being topless.. despite him wearing a black t-shirt. He’s a wrong one Bernardo. I’vm proud to say I’ve always hated his guts.

The historical context of black people being compared to racist caricatures?

If mendy took it as a joke, and it was intended as a joke, that’s one thing. The moment he broadcast it on twitter it took on another dimension.

Do you think it would be out of line for City’s HR department rep to have a word with Bernardo wrt his tweets?

There is nothing on this on Blue Moon.

Interesting because there was earlier. The consensus was what's the world coming too when you can't joke with mates with a bit of "well that's was a bit silly" thrown in.

I suspect he will be charged and warned about future tweets.

This is so far away from the situation we were discussing yesterday it’s untrue.  I’m amazed you are linking them. Or maybe not.

Didn’t think I was gonna get an answer, but happy to let this one go... because i imagine it’d be boring for the rest of the forum.

I agree, because you’re being obtuse.

HR having a word means they want you to stop.  They can fire you if you don’t. You seem to be missing that. For two days running.
