“So it wasn’t Klopp who finally brought the title back to Liverpool after all, it was Brendan”.

I’m going to guess that wouldn’t meet with universal approval, if such hypothetical events came to pass.

I await JP's glorious return to the forum if this ever happens

I think the bitterness is far greater than last season. You can read the vitriol in any sports pages comments section. Loads of people want the 30 years without winning the title to go on and on and on.

It's the thing they believe makes their club superior to us, the 'yeah, we havent won it since 2004' or even since 1961 in Spurs case so as long as you dont win it, boo yah!

I think a lot are saying they're not interested is just another way they want to show their distain to go with their faux outrage.

Is it a weak league? How's that the case when city have lost 6 times in the league to sides mainly below them in the league? It wasnt a 'weak' league when they were beating west ham 5-0, watford 8-0 or when they were losing 3-2 to Norwich and 2-0 to wolves. Is it a 'weak' league because Leicester are up to 3rd? There's always a surprise team in the league and this year's looks to be Sheffield United.

I guess the proof of the pudding is in the eating whether it's a 'weak' league will be at the end of the season if all three relegated clubs have less than about 35 points and all the other teams are 10 points off the corresponding position for last season.

Conversely, if it's a 'weak' league, shouldnt all the clubs below the European qualifiers and above the relegation spots all have MORE points than those corresponding positions in previous seasons?

I'll be delighted for Rodgers and Gerrard if city get the 2014 title taken off them and it's awarded to us. Cannot really see it though. Dont know why people wouldnt want Rodgers to have won the title, it's no slant on Jurgen or anything.

I don't think the level of bitterness and animosity towards us this year is anything like it was last year. Yeah, there's still the social media cranks crying VAR conspiracy, but I feel as though the wider football public at large have just accepted it for what it is.

If it was close and we were in a race to the line with City again like last year, then yeah we'd still be getting all the banter merchants giving it out every game and most would be rooting against us, but the impression I'm getting now is that most fans don't really care anymore because we're so far ahead and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

We've broken them.

Seeing Rodgers and Co being awarded the league title for 2014 would be rightly deserved. These cunts have cheated to gain an advantage and anything they have won during that period should be stripped from them.

Weather its financial doping or drugs those guilty of wrong doing historically have had their gains stripped.

This season is like somebody has asked a Liverpool fan to write the script.  Imagine Gerrard being handed a premier league title.  It would honestly be the funniest and justified thing of all time.

There's a red with a lamp somewhere.

If it did happen it should be presented to the 2014 squad after a home game in order for them to get that feeling they were denied in 2014.

Even Sterling to be fair as he played a massive part and has also been robbed of a title.

Loses 2 gains 1.   Karma

We should give them their own bus in the parade.

They wouldn't award someone else their titles, surely? A points deduction next season would make more sense, if it came to that. Start them on -10 points or something like that. Like they did to Chievo Verona in Serie A a few years back.

Do both. Send out the clearest message.

Well that's how they do it to cheats in the Olympics so surely the same system should apply here?

Well they have done it to other teams in football, so shouldn't that precedent apply here too?

Throwing discs, jumping and running isn't sport. (I'm joking, I have a medal for throwing discs)
