That is a great point. It's why us at our best is their best opponent, because we thrive the most when we can get quick transitions. It's a great clash of styles. Unfortunately, so few teams have the quality to break effectively against them. It's very difficult.

I don't have stats to hand but their pressing seems a lot more intense this season, it's noticeably harder for opponents to put their foot on the ball to get a counter rolling. The tactical fouling is a huge issue though and that combined with their pressing and possession means most can't teams can't lay a glove on them.

Klopp and the other managers need to make an issue of it in the press like Ferguson. They did it a couple of seasons ago and it was noticeable how much more it was penalised compared to years gone by.

Previous iterations of their sides had character and personality. The likes of Robinho, Adebayor, Bellamy, Richards, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Kompany, Tevez, D. Silva, Ballotelli, Aguero, Yaya Toure, Nasri and Dzeko all had character and identity compared to the mundane shite they serve up now.

They knew how to pick em.

Brazilian footballer Robinho has lost his final appeal against a conviction for taking part in the gang rape of a woman in Milan in 2013.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court in Rome upheld a previous ruling sentencing the 37-year-old to nine years in jail.

I’m surprised no one really pulls them up on the tactical fouling. That sort of thing is where Ferguson has never been equalled - he’d mention it so often that refs would be on the lookout and, despite not wanting to go against their paymasters, in the position of having to do something about it.

They did get pulled on it a while back. And  then for a while fernandinho would get booked every time and their results dipped. But it's like the refs have decided that was a fernandinho thing and not actually the entire basis for the way these cunts play.

Seen Wilfried Bony has just got a 6 month contract in the Dutch league.

They paid 35 mil for that fella and he started 15 league games.

One of a lengthy list of expensive flops. But when you literally have the wealth of a nation behind you, you can afford to make as many mistakes as you want, with no consequence

Who’s their worst signing of the oil era?

Contenders: Grealish, Mangala, Mendy, Savic, Jerome Boateng, Bravo, Nolito, Delph.

Mangala, despite City paying an inordinate amount of money, unofficially, for him has just been signed on a free as his contract wasn’t renewed at Valencia and is now at St Etienne.

He’s just turned 30.

If in doubt, the alleged rapist is probably the worst signing. General rule of thumb.

They were on Premier League Retro on Sky the other night and Adam Johnson was playing. Between him and the current bold boy their new history will generally have a sex offender on the pitch. Can't be good for the brand.

How many of these?

Cheating twats, every one of their fucking titles and trophies has a massive asterisk against them.

But if 'Off the pitch' website can uncover fraud like this, how come UEFA, the PL anf even FIFA cannot never mind bring charges that stick?

And that fat cunt samuel will be nowhere to be seen over this instead saying owners should be free to pump as much money as they want into clubs.

The Premier League have a case against City in the courts at the moment for breaches of FFP.

You can’t uncover that which you aren’t looking for.

Yes but it is effectively 'parked' and fuck all happening. I bet this example isnt included in their case either.

I genuinely think finishing second behind City is more meaningful, more of a real championship than them finishing 1st. Obviously finishing above them is even better, but the level of corruption makes that difficult.

You don't know this. The cunts got off at CAS partially because of the whispers coming from UEFA. I'd like to think the PL have learned from that. The way they are going after Newcastle also suggests the gloves are off. City's place at the top table has cost Arsenal 100s of millions, it threatens the same to Utd and puts the viability of Spurs new stadium under sever pressure. They boring football and 20 match winning streaks are a huge threat to the broadcasting deals. Going by Klopps comments when UEFA banned initially its clear we (the Club, FSG and Klopp) hate their guts. There are enough interested parties to go after them if they can get the proof.
