Mate, the only reason we won the league the other season was because they lost one defender.

Of course and don't forget how we benefitted so much from a 3 month break in season too....they'd have deffo caught us if season had not stopped...we were wobbling and out on our feet after Watford and they were on fire and hunting us down.....

Looks like a nice independent sponsor, nowt to do with their owners, nosireebob!

That's interesting, they have apparently been shopping around for someone to replace Etihad as their sponsor for a couple of years. This would suggest that real businesses still think they are a non entity.

I'd bet it's pretty strange working in their commercial department.

On the one hand, you have to produce sponsorship numbers that are larger than much bigger clubs like Liverpool's, just to make the FFP figures work. On the other hand, you're never going to get a sponsor to pay that much to have their name on a shirt not that many people are going to see/wear.

So you're stuck making pointless calls to Aldi or BP or whoever, pretending to negotiate deals, all the while knowing that whatever their bid is it's getting trebled when some Dubai company run by the sheikh's cousin calls and offers the money you needed all along for your paperwork.

First against the wall when the Green Revolution comes...

Not starting with a recognised striker again. Is he sending a message? PSG and Dortmund advancing to the knockout stages will stop City pulling Haaland or Mbappe out their arse in January. It will probably be Kane if anyone and that will be better for us in the long-term.

They’re a shockingly badly run club in some ways. Unlimited funds at their disposal and they fail to bring in a striker during the summer. Great for everyone else though, although Kane has managed to screw up the seasons of two clubs.

Hope they stick to buying relatively unknown Portuguese full-backs for £76m rather than focusing on what they really need.

Agreed. They're crying out for an attacking midfielder.

Ah, Mr Guardiola. Come, come, step into our bazaar. Let us tempt you with our wares. I think we may have something of interest to you. Here we have a genuine Naby Laye Keita. In excellent condition. One of a kind. To you, a valued customer, the special price of £70 million. Shall we have the Keita wrapped for you, sir?

If anything required the fragile sign on its packaging, it's Naby Keita.

We could do without this though. It's allowed him to bring the bus in incident up again.

Absolutely disgusting if has happened.

It is a scummy act at best of times, it will be rightly looked at even more seriously given the pandemic.

Vermin if someone has done it.

I don't disagree, cunts trick if it's happened.  That echo article says it was caught on camera. Although another one said something like "city's backroom staff made the claim despite the increased restricted zone around the benches" suggesting it couldn't have happened.

Be interesting to see truth come out.

If someone has done it i hope they are banned from ground for life.
