Man City - the new bitters?

Cunts like that martin samuel will be doing handstands around Fleet Street or wherever the media hacks work nowadays with this news. He think there's hundreds of mega wealthy individuals wanting to throw as much money as they can to turn any old club in the lower leagues, into the next manchester city.

The reality is there will be a very small number of clubs who will be taken over and have the cash city or PSG have available to them. Never mind 'sporting integrity,' so long as some mega wealthy individual, corporation or nation state can skew the field so much that generally, no other club can compete so long as the obscenely wealthy can have a dream of going from League One to Premier League winners in 5 years, that's ok.

Imagine the uproar if PSG slap 500 million pounds on the table for de Bruyne, Sterling and Auguero and they all fuck off.

Arsene Wenger was right when he said FFP was finished when clubs with far more money than sports governing bodies were prepared to gown down the legal route to overturn potential bans.

Arsenal and Spurs should sue UEFA for costs incurred in building new stadiums in the belief it was the only way to fairly raise income due to FFP.

World, european and League Champions.

Fuck City and that Bald fraud.

At least UEFA will do all it can to stop these cunts winning the CL. Hence the draw they have been given.

Said it earlier, every defeat in the CL for City will be met by 'They are cheating us' cries. Be ironic and fulfilling if City are knocked out at home to Real and Ramos takes out Sterling.

What is the 5 year thing?  Shouldn't have been a surprise to UEFA.  Incompetent twats.

The German newspaper Der Spiegel published a series of findings and irregularities in late 2018 after getting hold of email communications among the City hierarchy. These publishings related to dodgy dealing dating from 2013 and earlier, where City needed to cook the books and mask direct owner investment as corporate sponsorship in order to meet FFP guidelines. It's because UEFA's investigation was at least 5 years after the event (and based on Der Spiegel's findings) that so many of the findings were deemed to be time-barred by CAS. I don't know how Der Spiegel got hold of their info but it's clear that the vast majority of it had been hidden from UEFA by City when UEFA were investigating their irregularities around 2014-ish. UEFA themselves made a point of saying this when they handed down the 2-year ban to City. Still, whatever irregularities UEFA did find back then were serious enough to hand down a hefty fine (not far short of 50 million Euros IIRC).

Just goes to show what an incredible achievement it is from Klopp and the lads to not only compete with a financially doped organisation but ultimately beat them and beat them good and proper .

but but the greatest team ever hammered the champions 4-0.

Cheers.  So it really as simple as they didn't understand their own statute of limitations.  Whoppers.

Hopefully more will be made of the fact that the cunts cheated.

"But it's finding that City obstructed their investigation and failed to cooperate with it. It's still quite a serious finding against a major football club."
