Man City - the new bitters?

Listened to the anfield wrap with a finance expert and it was quite interesting. Seems likely they will get off or a reduced punishment and it does make FFP seem unfair in many ways but so is an oil state destroying a sport for their own PR.

Highlighted the fact that city saying it's the old established clubs pulling up the drawbridge on them as absolute bullshit as city had put themselves on the top tier before FFP came in and they signed up to it and it's the other clubs with new wealthy owners such as Everton that are hitting a newly made glass ceiling.

The whole paying people off the books under a different company name is normal business practice also saying an owner should be able to plough as much of their money as they like into their business and it's not legal to stop them. Lots of business reasons why city should be allowed to do whatever they like and be as creative with finances as they want, ultimately forgetting that first and foremost this is supposed to be a sport, a competitive sport.  Do you allow steroids in athletics because a person should be allowed to do whatever they like to their own body.

City's arrogance throughout has been despicable.

Etihad looks half-full if that for a home league match. What an absolute shower that club is. "Profitable, sustainable football club" - since when did Comical Ali lay roots down in Manchester
