Can't see this happening. Unlike PSG, City have tried to build good PR, avoided world record fees, not complained over things like our supposed "hacking" etc.

They want to be accepted as belonging at the top table; they face a clear choice now. Either take the beating and be seen to have done your time - a la Juve - or kick and squeal and highlight the sportswashing exercise and the culture behind it for what it is.

I wouldn't be shocked to see them barter it down to one season, but taking on UEFA in such a brazen manner would be a radical change of approach.

Just going by what I remember reading when the German press releases the report.

Being in the Champions League means everything for the growth of a club. Gives a club more money, international popularity, puts them on the map for players and new fans, etc... Not being in it, never mind not even being eligible for it puts you in the abyss. They will be fighting this like hell.

This is already pretty decent, but...

Being a naturally greedy cunt, the very, very best way this could work out is if Everton finish 5th and UEFA announce they’re deducting a place from England for the next two years as punishment after their bus parade.

Premier league might have to act now.

So are we winning it this year or retaining it

We should at least try and get the bandwagon rolling on that even if the FFP rules are different for the premier league and it's a different body. I'm sure the FA will step in here...

Out of the EC, having to actually spend what you earn, losing their entitled prick of a manager and mercenaries because they can’t conceal the shady contracts with their new transparency. Players not wanting to sign for them due to the above. A set of psychologically crippled, conspiracy nut, fans, having a very public unravelling and to top it all... all of their success will look even more hollow, not just because they’ve been shown up by UEFA, but more importantly they’re being shown up by us. A proper fucking football team.

Bed are being made and they can cry themselves to sleep the cheating cunts.

Of course they'll fight it, but the supposed threat of bankrupting UEFA was always a bit mental. If UEFA carks it, the pan-European breakaway league gets a step closer to reality, and the other clubs won't want City in it.

And Everton

Right now you know they are talking about how they could win the 20/21 champions league. They are the gift that keeps giving.

Anyhow back to City, it isn't good for us domestically, but no top player will go there next season and they need a huge rebuild. I think Pep will walk. In fairness, you can't blame a top manager or player from walking. I could see De Bruyne leaving for Real and Aguero could go to Barca or Real also.

Ole may just blag his way to 5th.
