Interesting little thread on City’s tactical fouling.

Quite an accurate post about him in that thread "I loved watching his sides play. But in terms of honesty, integrity, spirit of the game, being fair in victory and defeat - he is painful to experience. Like a Mourinho -but who cares what people think about him."

With all this VAR helping Liverpool to win the league, I’m confused why they allowed Rashfords goal at old Trafford despite an obvious foul on Origi, whilst then disallowing a valid Mane goal?

All part of the long game so that it doesn't seem obvious that the FA are trying to help us win the league yet again. Just like they have been doing for the last 30 years, hence the fact we now have nearly 40 league titles.

I expect talk of our "hacking" of their scouting system to mysteriously resurface once the FFP investigation into them is wrapping up

I imagine the last thing they want brought out publicly is they didn't bother their arse to disable passwords when people left. It suits them much better being mysterious having been given 1m for a gagging agreement.

As with all things Abu Dubious you have to read the lie within the lie.

This is for the whole group which includes Them, NY City, Melbourne City and the other teams they have picked up, along with all the academy and excellence centres dotted around the world. Probably makes sense for a speculator to get in early before individual broadcast rights are flogged off in each of these regions, and any more they may pick up.

It’ll all magically be funnelled through Longsight as expertise or somesuch and make it in to their books making them look like a viable ‘business’ and allow them to continue doping.

The Puma kit deal is the same, yet announced as a City sponsorship when it actually covers all the teams and probably the tea ladies tabard.

They might be cheats, but they’re cheats with incredible accountants.

The cunts.

The “interview” they’ve got running on sky sports news is comical.  The fraud in charge would give the tories a run for their money on how many words you can speak without actually saying anything.  He literally talks like a gangster who’s been given some PR training.

Why on earth would anyone let alone a private equity firm, who are notorious for being frugal and wanting a return on their investments, purchase a tenth of that company for more than double what United are worth.  They don’t make money.  Their only real revenue is TV and prize money which doesn’t come anywhere near covering the costs they are putting through the books never mind the total actual costs which they are hiding who god only knows the total.

Meanwhile, over at nonce central, they are causing Pickford's little ears (that's ears, not arms) to burn.....

Last season's performance at Klanfield confirmed it for me.

    If?

No If about it mate, its scandalous. Last season and whatever he was supposed to be doing last night was shameful to his profession. Hopefully the next Everton manager sees him for what he is and bins him.

New manchester city fans myth number 1059. Apparently, it is 'technically' a foul if a defending player 'shouts' at an attacking player during a game to try and put him off shooting!

This new myth comes as Virgil van Dijk was allegedly seen shouting at everton player Kean when the everton player was about to core his team's 3rd goal at Anfield last night. Kean dragged his resultant shot wide and didnt score.

Pretty sure this is more about shouting stuff like "leave it", making them think you're a team-mate.

Yeah, that's what I understood too. And a booking for ungentlemanly conduct back in the day. I'm not sure that still exists though, can't remember the last time I heard someone was booked for that.
