Yarden Shua, the last time we bought a Israli striker mid season during a title challenge worked out ok

19 year old top scorer in their league

Not sure how he'd fit in with our current marketing plan to be the team of choice for the Islamic world.  The moneymen might block that one.

What about declan rice? Great talent and can play in defence and as a holding midfielder.

Think he has contract issues with west ham. Could be a very astute signing for the future and could contribute this season also.

Never really recaptured the form of his first album for me.

If available a CF/ST to challenge Bobby or at least allow him to get a rest now and then would be nice. Other than that just depth, which is probably more likely if we buy at all with it being January. For me it seems we get most of our big deals done in the summer* and try to avoid the January market completely win possible.

* - I know we got Van Dijk in January but all of the leg work was done in the summer, it was just a matter of Southampton saving face. The same could probably be said of our selling of Coutinho, although I think we also hoped if we qualified for the Knockouts he'd stick it out until the summer.

Think Herving Lozano would be a great option if we are looking for an attacker midfielder, number 10 type.

Mainly right-footed, Lozano is generally deployed on the left wing, but can also play on the right or as a central striker.[Lozano's shooting and crossing abilities have produced good returns of goals and assists for club and country.

Lozano's style of play has been described as: "Playing on the left side of a 4-2-3-1 the vast majority of the time, right-footed Lozano has all the attributes of a classic inverted winger. Possessing great power in his right foot, he's often dangerous when shooting after cutting in from the left-hand side. [...] [He] is equally adept at creating chances as well as scoring them, with a strong left-foot he’s able to deliver crosses after taking the ball down the line, although he elects to cut inside more often than choosing to go outside the opposition full-back. Lozano also has quite good creative vision, particularly for a 20 year-old."He has also been described as being "[q]uick with or without the ball and possessing a powerful and accurate shot.]Although more widely known for his offensive prowess, he also offers a high defensive work rate through his speed and constant pressing on the ball when not in possession, willing to chase down loose balls and often times forcing defenders and goalkeepers to clear the ball long, allowing his team to win the ball back quickly, or even managing to steal the ball, as a result, he is PSV's highest-pressing player.[78]

Haha

Just a copy and paste job.

Was checking to see how old he was.

Makes all the sense in the world to me. Won't be Premier league prices, still young, works hard, creative and scores goals

And it would twist the bitters balls as they seem to think he's nailed on for them at some stage.

Probably when he's 34 and shot.

We are in a position to challenge need premiership proven to be honest just need a good five months so on that basis would buy Callum Wilson if he doesn’t work out get rid In summer . Also if loft us  determined to go out on loan or even Moses for cover loan again these are options we should be looking at. Very concerned last night at amount of cramp players were suffering plus Salah was out on his feet last 10 mins we need to rotate and give players a rest or injuries or tiredness could derail the season. If we going to buy someone for future witch our system and blow big bucks would buy Martial.
