What a waste. Would have de Jong & de Ligt here in a heartbeat. €150m for a pair that would be first teamers for 10 years or so. Well worth it.

Hope that's true about Frenkie going to PSG.

 

Imagine if City got him to replace Fernandinho. They might not lose another game for the next 5 years. Also, although it's a terrible move from the player's point of view, him and Verratti is going to be some midfield.

 

And it means Rabiot is definitely off, which could be good for us. Although haven't all the rumours lately been about him going to Barca?
