We proles have to renew our license every three years after 70 . Not having passed because you're 97 isn't a get out jail free card. It's ludicrous they're exempt in this day and age.

Anyone who drove in the army didn’t have to pass a test.  My grandad did the same and he was fucking hopeless.  Most people still driving at their age won’t have sat one.

If you’ve got a licence you self declare your fitness to drive.  There’s no conspiracy here.  

 

The law should be changed to say Anyone over 75 should have to face a fitness to drive medical every year.  Eyes, reactions, road laws all tested.
