The overall sense of our chips being pissed on and pressure on Adrian would only be increased if it had been announced Alisson would be out for a month or two after only our first game.

 

So while it may very well be that they just don’t know yet, I also wouldn’t be at all surprised if that’s just canny management of the situation, with a longer break to be announced once Adrian has played a few games and hopefully shown his worth.
