His positioning and anticipation is just outstanding. He rarely has to make 'spectacular' saves (though he is quite capable of doing so) because he's usually in exactly the right place to begin with.

Bollocks.  You can't tell me he shouldn't be doing better here.

You go back to the last-minute save against Napoli...

Sliding fucking doors, eh?

This............

Lot of,people, keep banging on about Spurs name being on the cup but that save whch has kind of been forgotten could turn out to be as equally important as Fairclough and St Ettiene in 77 and Gerrad and Panathinaikos in 05 .

I always think back to his first training session where he made a ridiculous save from Grujic. The camera pans to the lads by the post, and you can see them giggling in a way that says "neither of those other two fuckwits would've gotten anywhere near that!"

To be fair Mr Pink is probably the worst poster on the site, any site actually.

It’s got to the point now that the odd time when you see attackers get in on goal you just know the bear is going to come out and smother it.  He’s been fucking great this season.  He’s a perfect example of signing confident mother fuckers who aren’t arrogant.  He backs himself but he was smart enough to know to rein himself in after the Leicester game.

Seen a couple of interviews with Klopp recently on Youtube where he is talking openly about himself and his philosophy if you like and he mentions some interesting stuff. One of the most interesting things he says is that when meeting a potential signing for the first time he barely talks to them about football, its about life in general and I expect family comes high on that list. Its interesting to see how few of our players are the playboy footballer types and how many are good family men ,often with kids. Harks back to the days of Shankly when he often sought out these players because he knew they would give their all with few distractions and be consumate professionals. Alisson obviously falls into this category of player.
