He’s probably never seen a replay of it.  He watches the games and turns everything off at half time and at full time so that he can avoid pundits not realising the only knowledge he’s ever gained is up to the point he’s started turning it off.  It explains why he’s wrong about basically everything.

I have my opinion and you have yours but after almost fifty years of watching the game I am confident enough to form my own opinions without them being influenced by ex professionals and analysts whose opinions are as subjective as anybody else who watches the games.

Only just seen this thread as haven't been on it for a while but I find this a bit unnecessary in a simple debate over an incident in a football match months ago. You don't seem to like people who disagree with your opinion much and seem a bit spikey when challenged over such opinions. An over the top post for me Clive.

I casually and cordially disagree with people on here all the time. I just didn’t like your post changing from football to a personal insult.

I meant my retort flippantly, I apologise for any offence I caused.

Where did I insult you?

Apology accepted, and likewise if I did insult you I apologise too.

Alisson is miles better than Mig. Even his mistakes are better.

As I see it, the Leicester one was a fuck up. Don't know what you'd call the United one. To my eyes it wasn't an error or a mistake. It was a freak occurrence where he collected the ball, and knocked it out of his own hands with his knee.

Would rather him in the goal than anyone else in the league.

Not sure why an apology was negged, repped to rectify.

It’s down to him that our goals against isn’t 6, 2 big fuck ups that The Mig would be crucified for. Even The Mig would look good behind our defence this season. Let’s not go OTT.

Absolute bonkers take that the stats, nor the eye test support in any kind of way.
