Big sexy bastard, the over rated cunt Everton bought is closer in quality to Mignolet.

When they were all jizzing their knickers because they'd signed a keeper with a reputation as a decent shot-stopper based on one top-flight season with relegation-fodder Sunderland, I suggested that it might not be a guarantee of quality.  They ignored me.

They also ignored me when I pointed out that last season Karius kept as many league clean-sheets in 19 games as Pickford did in 38.

The fact we bought Mignolet from relegation fodder Sunderland off the back of one good season should have acted as a fair warning.

Can't expect the blues to use something like logic though so I can't say I'm surprised.

That save before Gomez cleared off the line...

That's the sex.

You won't see a better save/clearance this year.

And its even better that it happened against them.

The Blues in the pub were up. They were sure it was in.

Sorry lads. Sit down. We got this.

Definitely helps having a rock solid start to the spine in the CB pairing and Alison in goal. Hopefully now the midfield can get going and we can sort out if it's a 4-2-3-1 or back to a 4-3-3.The 4-2-3-1 really not suiting Bobby.

I'd consider resting him next game and playing Origi. Let Origi, Salah, Shaqiri and Mane just move around the positions.

He’s just so assured and the combo of him and VVD has made everyone else play with so much more confidence.

Gome has been brilliant in part as a result of the certainty beside and behind him. On top of his obvious talent, without doubt.
