Probably wouldn't want to go back to England at this stage of his career. Italy is next to Croatia so it would be a nice place for him to wind down his career.

He played absolutely out of his skin for Madrid and then Croatia from January on .. wouldn't be incredibly surprising if, at his age, it turns out he's just feeling physically knackered now. Really hope one of our 2 midfield additions has the ability to dominate the ball in the manner he does.

I believe the Europa League ranking points are considerably less than the Champions League. And we’ve got two years of no European action in the five years in consideration.

It was. Adam Rooney went to non-league Salford City. When an English non-league team can offer you a better contract than a Scottish top flight club, the writing is pretty much on the wall.

Just reading the Meyer deal is 3 years. 

Makes more sense, it suits both, Palace only really locked in for 25ml over the 3 years and its all wages so easy got rid off. If he has a good year they'll sell him for 30ml plus next summer.
