His first game in the PL was a 4-0 thrashing for Swansea at Man City. His first PL game with Liverpool was a 3-0 drubbing at West Brom.

Why is Rodgers so hated on here? He was sacked, what, 4 years ago? And we’ve obviously gone on to bigger and better things since, fuck me we’re fighting right at the top level for the big trophies. Why the bitterness over a former manager who tried but ultimately was not good enough? Why give this much of a fuck?

I think it's because of all the claptrap he spoke when he was here.  Certainly don't hate him, just felt he wasn't good enough for us, and should never have been appointed.  He is in no way as bad as that cunt Hodgson.

I agree ,we have had worse managers.  It was that last season for many people where we lost Suarez , signed shite then played like twats most of the time. Coming off a campaign where we should have won the league it was predictable Rodgers would be become a bogeyman.

Thats past now and people should let it go. He's not a bad fella.
