De Gea reminds me a lot of Shay Given - a very good shot stopper in front of a dodgy back line, great for the cameras but very little to his game beyond that. Almost incapable of leaving his line, poor at kicking, top-drawer at making the mundane look spectacular and a massive liability when not on top form.
