Haha! Fair play to Spurs for seeing that through. At least they’re a proper football club, playing by the rules.

The only downside is City having less fixtures, but that won’t benefit them before the Spurs and Man United games are done anyway, which are still our two big hopes.

There’s not a fucking slither of a chance that Spurs take anything at the weekend now. None. City will feel aggrieved and with one major competition to play for, will absolutely destroy them. Given that Solskjaer’s soft centre has been exposed too, the league is essentially gone now as far as we’re concerned.

They’ve still got the FA cup!

Fair play to Pep. He’s been finding new ways to fail abjectly in Europe with ridiculously expensively assembled sides for years now.

Not so easy without the greatest player of all time in his prime, is it?

Don’t forget City really want to win the CL so that alone is funny. I can’t imagine how horrific it would have been if we came 2nd to them in the League and also lost to them in the final!

Yep. They’d definitely have chosen this over the league in the way that we’d probably have chosen the opposite. Will be interesting to see how it affects them now.
