Would love to know what Tierney and the assistant were discussing.

"Abu Dhabi have promised us a Mercedes each if we allow this."

"No deal, I want a Porsche."

"Fellas, did you catch that? Can we agree on the Porsche?"

"We can stretch to a Porsche. But no fluffy dice."

"It's a goal."

The only reason Walton didn’t say it was a legit goal is because the flag went up and he thought they were disallowing it.  BT put him on the spot.  If they’d asked him after they give the goal he would have been saying they were right to give it.  The guys there to just parrot whatever nonsense decision the refs manage to come to.  This shit should have been addressed by the FA a long time ago.  It’s not like it’s the first time it’s happened.

Week in week out players are correctly flagged off without touching the ball and sometimes without being anywhere near the ball because they are running towards it.  Every so often some attention seeking liner waits until the last possible second to put his flag up and then some fucking ape like Keown will tell us how that’s what the linesman do all the time because it’s the rules even though it gets contradicted various times in the same game.  Then you get incidents like this.  It’s a joke and it’s ruining the game.

Walton "clarified" the situation there - he clearly knows it's offside but he's trying to put it down to the ref's "judgement". Of course it's offside, fuck sake... How can that touch put him back onside when the only reason the fucking defender has touched is in trying to make sure the offside player isn't through on goal. My word...

It's not blatant cheating is it. City played to the whistle. Scoring from an offside position isn't cheating. It's (at best) incompetent refereeing that's at fault here.

Was refering to the referee being a cheat. He might aswell come out after game and say he grew up a supporter.

Not buying the incompetent in this decision. Blatant cheating is what it is.

They did okay in the first half and they were trying to play when they had the ball. Other than a couple of headers they were frustrating them.  That decision has absolutely screwed the game.

I just can’t get over that offside.  He’s in the action of kicking the ball when the defender kicks it against him.  It’s an absolute joke and you know for a fact there will be a load of gobshite officials defending the decision

Before tonight I thought there’s no chance City can win their remaining matches. But west ham dropped players for the match. Bournemouth didn’t have 1 attempt at home against them. And now Watford dropped a load of players for the match tonight.

If this is the way other sides are playing against them we’re fucked.
