The fans want either Rafa or Rodgers.

Rodgers would be stupid to take that when he can get the 10 in a row in Scotland, plus guaranteed European footy the next few seasons. Hartson summed it up last night with that. Can see them going balls out for him though.

The problem with Leicester is knowing what expectations should be. They won the most insane fluke of a title under a past-prime manager who was barely above mediocre at his very best. You could bring in Rafa whose best days are well and truly behind him but still remains a better coach than Ranieri ever has been, but will consistent mid-top half finishes be enough? If another title challenge or even sporadic CL qualification is the goal, you could combine the best bits of Klopp, Guardiola and Pochettino and that still wouldn’t happen.

Historically Leicester are a club who at best are a mid table top flight club, who yo-yo between top two divisions and don't have a history in Europe.

Their one title win as great an achievement as it was does not change what they are - par for them is mid table, they are on same level as say Southampton - same size ground, support etc.

Sacking managers because they are achieving what is about par for them is mad.

St Mary's and the King Power share the same stadium blueprint.

The empty seats are embarrassing.  City sellout every week apparently.  All the fans just can’t get to every game they say.  I think it’s fair to conclude that’s a load of nonsense isn’t it and they just say they’ve sold all of their tickets so they can put it in the revenue figures to bypass FFP.

Who do we want to win here?

I’m torn.

City after extra time would probably be best because they won’t lose many games and they’re more likely to slip up in the league if they’re not on the rebound after this one.

A Chelsea win could negatively impact them, but I think it would have to be a bit of a hammering to really make a dent. A narrow defeat and they’ll be smashing the shit out of their next few league opponents.
