I think it was to do with a challenge by an Ajax player to win the ball that set up the attack. It was a challenge from behind but not a tackle, more a nudge and the Madrid player fell to the floor.

Ta.

Was reading bbc text and when goal went in it said 'this time no need for VAR' (obviously after 1st one was referred)

Then they expressed surprise it had actually gone to VAR.

That cynical twat Ramos ensured he got himself a yellow card just before the end, ensuring he misses the second leg and then starts the quarter finals without a suspension hanging over him.

If we get through i really want them in quarters.

They are shite and we'll dick them over two legs - be perfect revenge for last year.

Were football to obey the laws of logic, we would be thumping Munich come next Tuesday. But it seldom happens.

Haven't seen enough of this Dortmund side myself, but it seemed like their problem was more mental...too overwhelmed by the occasion having had little experience in this competition. Being a young team, they were physically not ready as well.

Yes get that but is it not a bit much. He has no connection to either club tragic as it was. Will we do it for Gordon Banks?

What about all those poor lads in Brazil.

Uefa said this week that all European games will have a silence or applause for Sala after his body was found the other day. I'm sure Banks and the kids will get one. you are a cunt.
