It's a timing thing again though for me.

Yes we are better than them of course we are - but it's another game where we play after the others, under pressure after their results...West Ham have had some bad results lately and will want to bounce back at home - under lights, good atmosphere etc.

If it was 3pm Saturday and not after the others had won and not before City get what i see as a bonus game midweek i would be saying we'll bum them.

Not to mention our depleted defence.

But title winning teams have to pass these tests and we have to go and pass it

You could dress up every single fixture we have until the end of the season like this. Wrong day/time, injuries, form, atmosphere, etc, etc. It's West Ham. As you've said, if games like this are going to pose a huge problem we aren't winning the league.

I think the pressure to match City's results could be a good thing. Root out any complacency.

You could argue that city are handling the pressure worse than we are.

We were within a couple of points of them all the way til early December, then we had the early kick off on the 8th to go top, later that day they lost to Chelsea, and since then they've had the enormous pressure of trying to keep up with us, losing 3 more times in the process.

To be honest they have no right to be so close to us right now, same goes for Tottenham.

Vincent Kompany is donating his entire earnings from this season to help manchester homeless. Cracking gesture.

I'm glad somebody is doing something about it, I'm sick of tripping over the cunts in Spice comas as I'm walking through the town centre.
