Seems Wagner went to the board on Saturday and said he was going to leave at the end of the season as he needed a rest, so they sat down with him and discussed whether it was better to go now or at the end of the season. Otherwise, he was in no danger.

In other news it looks like O’Neill is going to be appointed Forest boss.

City will demolish Wolves. It’s hard to see where they’ll drop points for the remainder of the season. Old Trafford at a push, perhaps, circumstances permitting but even that seems unlikely.

Safe bet they won't take maximum points from the remaining games

I know we haven’t dropped points to any of the smaller teams but we’ve came close to doing it a lot of times and for me that goal was the prime example of what we don’t do often enough.  It’s why we’ve probably all got that fear deep down that these cunts will just steamroll every single team for the rest of the season.

They get their wingers wide and stretch teams so much more than we do.  It’s why our games are generally a lot tighter.  It’s also why I feel like we’d be lucky to go through the rest of the season and get away with it.  It is hard to see any more of those Leicester/Palace games where really they could and should have done easily having watched them.

Yep.

There’s a good chance that, statistically, we'll have had our best ever league campaign if we finish within 10 points of then. The combination of unprecedented wealth and the mystique that comes with a dominant title win and beats a lot of teams before the start of matches is not easy to overcome.
