It doesn't take a genius to make the mancs even reasonably competitive. Pick your best players (instead of fighting with them and freezing them out), put them in their best positions and actually utilise the attacking talent you have by playing on the front foot. It helps that Solskjaer has 3 piss easy games to begin with but he's at least being sensible with his selections and tactics, unlike the "Special One" who was absolutely clueless and relied on Fellaini to bail him out.

wait until they play a decent team again, they will get bummed, he picked the 3 easiest games to bring a new manager in knowing they would win them

Agree, they haven’t faced any real tests yet. And I’m not saying they are quite there yet, or that Solskjaer is the right man to take them there. But add one top class CB and the same in DM and their squad is as good as any in this league.

I'm convinced they sacked shit coat as they had these three easy games coming up - he would've won those and it would've been harder for them to sack him.

Said the same weeks ago. This and the January window with players wanting to jump ship and Mourinho wanting to spend squillions on a couple of 30 yr olds

They wouldn't necessarily have won these games under Mourinho. As Hodgson & Rodgers evidenced for us, when the wheels feel off they can really fall off and at that point it doesn't matter who the opposition are. They are playing a more expansive game now and their World Cup winning superstar who basically took the season off to date is getting an opportunity to stretch his legs; give it a month or two and the newfound running will start to catch up with them. In the medium-to-long term they still need a whole new defence and at least 2 into the midfield with some millstone contracts around their neck.

Best case realistic scenario is that they go on a great run, narrowly missing out on top 4 due to Mourinho's perceived sabotage and give Solskjaer the chance to continue next season under Ferguson's remit.

United are not going to remain shit forever they are too wealthy too big. It's irrelevant to us. We be the best we can be and they have to see if they can be better. We know one thing it doesn't fucking matter if your Man United players will hold back and shit on your club and fans to get what they want regardless. Pogba PLC.
