Anyone else disappointed at just how far some of the great clubs from when you where growing up have fallen?

 

See Milan have crashed out the Europa tonight

Sampdoria sitting mid table in a poor Serie A

 

 

Been good to see Ajax doing well in the champions league and mönchengladbach having a good year

 

I'd rather see Forest,Villa and Leeds back up than these bloody oil merchants

 

Look at the state of the Milan now

Good enough to win tonight but lost 3-1 away in Greece

Some great teams when i was growing up, as was the one in 05.

And indeed - just how the hell did we beat that Milan team in Istanbul. We have one of the greatest defensive records in the history of top flight football in the UK - but just look at THAT for a defence.

The thing is, older fans, my dad, for example, can remember the days when Burnley (and Wolves, etc.) were boss.
