Yeah read that

Apparently since 2016 we have spent 18ml more than them. But we have made a fortune back selling where he has made fuck all.

One year of not having unlimited funds and he the pauper up against the odds.

And he inherited a considerably more expensive squad. Both in terms of transfer fees and wages.

Don't they currently have a higher wage bill than City?

It's one of the worst managerial performances in the history of the sport.

Last year they pretty much had the same wage bill. Though the leaks suggest City having been paying players illegally too. But they've been doing that for years. A couple of years back they claimed their wages were lower than ours.

If you look at the squads they took over and money spent Inc net it shows he has fucked up massively

Man City (the club) is part of the City ownership group that also owns New York City FC, Melbourne City and Girona. I suspect that what they do is record players' (and coaches') salaries at club level (Man City in this case), and all the incentives like performance bonuses, image rights fees, signing-on fees, agent fees etc are recorded at ownership group level. So when it comes to disclosing salaries, the figures used are the ones at club level, but the players and coaches still get the full contracted amount.

You could also massage it by having players in the Aussie league being on 150k a week (when they clearly aren't).

Yep apparently Mancini was mostly paid as an advisor with only a small amount on the books.

Just like City being paid millions to advise the other clubs on coaching.

Bent, tax dodging blood money cunts
