The thing is I took my son to Manchester a couple of weeks ago to a concert, walking up Oxford Road towards the Christmas market and there were so many homeless people sat in doorways and begging that even he noticed and asked why there were so many.

I work round there and there are an unbelievable amount of homeless round when I walk from Oxford Road station to Great Bridgewater Street which is like a 4 or 5 minute walk. It's fucking sad! I sometimes walk across to Victoria station and it's just as bad.

 

Awful that it's like that in this day and age, I drop some of them a few quid when I've got it but I'm not sure it helps.

25 mins into Match of the Day last night and  came across several Premier League players that I’d genuinely never even heard of. Far cry to being a kid and collecting Merlin PL stickers, when  I knew every single player then .........

I worked in Piccadilly Gardens and crossing that bridge from the station to our building, if you look down (especially in the morning) its like Skid Row. So sad.
