Commentator rounding up the games has just said Ireland will be disappointed with a point against Denmark. U wot m8? Ireland are absolutely fucking woeful, Denmark are surely a considerably better team.

Depay would be absolute class for us under Klopp I think, not sure what he would cost nowadays but he’s quality.

I’d break the bank for him. Think he’s better than Fekir, and has stable knees

Fekir and Memphis aren't similar at all. Fekir is way more consistent and creative, Memphis is a better goal scorer. Memphis would fit our team because he can play any forward position but his consistency issues are very frustrating.

 

Despite his improvement, I still don't think he can be a regular starter for a top team. Maybe for a Spurs/Arsenal type side but not one who wants to win the title every year. He puts up crazy stats at Lyon but he's not universally rated because his performances are often bad.

The Dutch have a full back named Denzel Dumfries. Seems like proper Dutch names such as Johan, Wim, Jan and Ruud have gone out of fashion, with names like Denzel, Virgil, Quincy and Memphis taking over.

You're right, that is interesting. I don't know what the methodology is behind it, but you can certainly see that we've had a tough start and others around the top haven't.

City have had 3 of the promoted teams from this season and also played the 3 promoted teams from last season in their first 8 games.

Yeah — City have some tough fixtures coming up in the league and Europe too, and they come thick & fast. Probably why De Bruyne is rushing back ahead of schedule. Hopefully we see some dropped points.
