It’s not great. On the other hand, the three starting forwards are probably the most talented they’ve had for a while now. Also full backs, probably they have the best set of full backs in the world at the moment.

According to L'Equipe one of Red Star's leaders put 5 million Euro on them losing with 5 goals against PSG and FIFA and the police force in Serbia has started investigations.

I disagree. Walker, Trippier, Trent are all excellent options at right back. All three are better players than Neville was. Then you have Gomez, Wan-Bissaka, even Clyne.

 

Left back not quite at that level but Rose, Chilwell and Shaw are all very good options. If Rose could come back to the level a couple of years ago, then they’d have one of the best left backs in the world.

The only way anyone is ever putting 5m euros on a bet like that is if the game is fixed.

You are basically just naming anyone English that can play at fullback. It isn't really evidence of very much.

 

Alonso, Azpilicueta, Alba, Roberto, Gaya, Nacho, Carvajal. This lot are all really good.

 

I've probably forgotten some, but they are realms ahead of England's collection. Most of which just run quite fast.

England should be playing like a midtable Premier League side. Sit deep and counter. They are completely incapable of creating chances through slow build-up play.

Walker is a better full back than any of the above IMO. Quite comfortably too.
